Here we find alternating marly silt to fine sand along with fine and mid-sized sands, with a relatively regular alternation every 5 meters. To the west dominated by marly silt, while to the south the soil is even occasionally gravely.

The high plateau and the dropping south-eastern slopes of the Rosenleiten cover an area of 4 ha, ranging from 340 to 370 meters in elevation. It is a southern extent of the Kapfensteiner Kogel, well protected by this to the north.
