Klöcher Ölberg
The ground containing volcanic rock (basalt, basaltic clinker, stratified and unstratified tuffs) produced under a subtropical climate brown and red clays which, because they originated in the Tertiary, are classified as relic soils. 

Soil Type: Clay with little coarse material
Ground Type: lime-free Rigolboden, shallow to medium depth


The Ölberg lies directly above the town of Klöch, at the foot of the Hochwarth, and is oriented to the south and south-east. 
Elevations: 320 to 400 m
